Jesus Loves Me, This I Know

"For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God"
(Paul, Ephesians 3:14-19, NIV)

This Scripture is not meant to tease us, laying before us a love that we will never know. Instead, it paints a beautiful picture of the love in which we are meant to live and dwell, daily.

This week, when you wake up, begin by reflecting on the knowledge of who you belong to and where you live.

It is often all too easy to get caught up in thinking about the coming day - the activities, the people, the worries, the joys, etc...

Instead, take those details and wrap them up in the greatest reality that Jesus rules in love over all. I and all those I encounter, along with everyone and everything, are held in the heart of God. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I don't just live at 12 Ashwood Place, I live in Christ at 12 Ashwood Place

And that makes all the difference.
